“2009 my son Riley was entering kindergarten at SummitView Elementary School in Waukesha. We had already been enrolled with Waukesha school district pre-k services at Hawthorne. My son needed help. At first it was speech therapy and then we realized he needed more. Riley didn’t talk much but he could read and understand pictures so Ms. Cullen immediately started him on a picture schedule. So when he got to school he knew what was expected of him. She used every technique in the book plus others specifically for Riley. He tended to run in the hallway so Jenny loaded up a backpack with books and gave it to Riley to slow him down and he learned how to walk nicely in between classes. Ms. Cullen understood Riley’s love of Thomas the train and used that as motivation and reward for Riley. We wouldn’t have made it through elementary school without Ms. Cullen she set us up for success early on using fabulous techniques and some great insights for my son and we are forever grateful. ”
